Organization settings and policies (Business and Enterprise)
The Organization page (Settings › Organization, owners only) is for the whole account, not one workspace. It needs the Business or Enterprise plan.
- Business information: your organization name, legal name, address, website, contact email, phone and tax or VAT ID. They are sent to Stripe, so they appear on your invoices.
- Sharing and privacy: stop "anyone with the link" sharing, or stop public links altogether. Anything already shared that breaks the rule becomes Private to Workspace. You can also always turn off downloads.
- Uploads: a lower limit for the largest file and for the number of uploads in a workspace. They can only be lower than your plan allows.
- Members: allow only one email domain in every workspace, and let only owners and admins invite people.
- Security: turn off folder encryption for every workspace. Folders that are already encrypted stay encrypted.
- Workspace defaults: always disable comments, and lock the Comments, Downloads, Self Destruct and Content Privacy settings so admins can not change them.
Policies apply to every workspace you own and override what each workspace chose. A setting that is managed by your organization says so on its page. If the account goes below the Business plan, the policies switch off and the workspace settings apply again.
